Since the release of their first study, which accounted for 104 language translations of Kahlil Gibran's The Prophet, researchers Glen Kalem-Habib and Francesco Medici have added a further four to the list, revising the total to 108.
Cebuano · Philippines
Basque · France and Spain
Berber · North Africa
Bokmål · Norway
The complete list is published with the original study. The count has since risen considerably further — the current verified figure is 117 languages, set out in Still Speaking: The Prophet at 117 Languages.
Glen Kalem-Habib discussed the research in an Arabic-language interview with SBS Radio Australia, available at sbs.com.au.
